a
luxury
apartment
development
located
in
Mouille
Point,
one
of
Cape
Town’s
most
sought-after
coastal
neighbourhoods.
Simplr
was
commissioned
to
create
the
development’s
name,
brand
identity,
and
marketing
collateral,
with
the
objective
of
establishing
a
distinctive
brand
that
would
stand
apart
in
a
competitive
luxury
property
market
while
reflecting
the
unique
character
of
its
location.
Through
an
immersive
discovery
process,
Simplr
identified
the
building’s
north-facing
orientation
as
its
defining
characteristic,
allowing
it
to
be
immersed
in
natural
light
from
sunrise
in
the
east
to
golden
sunsets
in
the
west.
This
insight
inspired
the
name
East
West—a
simple
yet
evocative
expression
of
the
development’s
relationship
with
light,
time,
and
place.
The
visual
identity
draws
on
clean
architectural
forms
and
a
restrained
colour
palette
influenced
by
the
warm
tonal
shifts
of
dawn
and
dusk,
resulting
in
a
refined
and
timeless
brand
that
feels
intrinsically
connected
to
its
surroundings
while
reinforcing
the
development’s
premium
positioning.
